Filey Brigg Angling Society Bull Nose Boundary Match Results

Filey Brigg Angling Society Bull Nose Boundary Match

Filey Brigg Angling Society held its first catch and release competition on the sea wall last Sunday evening over high water.  The steady rainfall predicted didn’t dampen the spirits of the 27 anglers who took part in the two hour match.  Each angler’s fish were measured when caught, then released, and then all their fish lengths added together.  The winner with the longest measurement was juvenile Josh Harris who mastered the art of luring whiting perfectly.  Josh’s total measurement was 830mm, which was enough to win him the £50 first prize kindly given by sea wall regular Tom Newlove.

  1. Josh Harris, 830mm
  2. Billy Colling, 750mm
  3. Geoff Jeffries, 430mm
  4. Declan Cornwall, 420mm
