Pete Dunn kept up the pressure to wear the B league crown with another satisfying win in week 17.  A nice bag of almost eight pounds keeps him just in front of the chasing pack, as we enter the last month of fishing.

Bempton proved to be the hot spot in week 15, with Robbie Harrison hauling up five fish to make up an outstanding eighteen and a half pound bag of cod. Robbie’s bag brought a thirteen week lead by Phil Arliss to an end, with Robbie now leading by almost eleven pounds.  Pete Dunn’s sixteen pound bag now gives him a sixteen pound lead in league ‘B’ over on-form close rival Richard Farnell.  But with just seven weeks fishing left there’s still everything to fish for.

Week 14 saw Phil Arliss return to his winning ways with a ten pound bag of cod.  Some better sized cod are starting to turn up with four 6lbers weighed in on the Monday night match.  Phil’s bag keeps him at the top of the ‘A’ League by just four pounds with Robbie Harrison hot on his heels in second place.

Week 13 incorporated the Christmas outing and meal, 32 anglers pitted their wits against the elements to try to win the annual event.   Richard Farnell did the business and located a single cod to take both heaviest bag and heaviest fish with a cod of 3-11-0.  The weeks match was won by Jamie Richardson with a good bag of almost ten pound.
